Accessibility
Last updated 2 November 2026
This site aims to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA and partially conforms: most of it meets that standard, and the limits we know about are listed below with another way to get the same information.
What is in place
- A skip link, real landmarks, and headings in order.
- Visible focus outlines on every control, never removed.
- The full menu is real text on the page, never only a PDF or an image.
- Every form field has a visible, bound label. Errors come back as text, with what you typed kept.
- Text contrast of at least 4.5 to 1, measured.
- The video on the home page has no sound, does not start if your device asks for reduced motion, and has a visible Pause button.
- The menu, navigation and contact form all work with JavaScript off.
- Single-column layout with no sideways scrolling down to a 320 pixel screen.
- Touch targets of at least 44 by 44 pixels.
How it is tested
Automated checks with axe-core on every page, keyboard-only walkthroughs, and a Content Security Policy pass in a real browser. Automated tools catch only some barriers, so reports from people using the site matter most.
Known limits
- Ordering (DoorDash), reviews (Yelp) and the optional maps are run by those services, whose accessibility is outside this site's control. Every address and phone number is also written out as text, and you can always call to order or reserve.
- The logo is artwork; the restaurant's name is also given as text everywhere it appears.
